How do you play decimator ?
I really like this ship and want to play it somehow.

So. After a few tries I came out with some setups :

I must say my favorite is Oicunn, dauntless, EU, gunner, ruthlessness, Mara Jade, with a proton bomb. 100% fun.

So far the following seems like the most interesting build:

Kenkirk+PTL+Isard+Mara+Jerjerrod+EU

Not my idea originally (though I swapped Rebel Captive out of it for Mara), if it's ignored at first it can Focus+TL, once it takes a damage card it devotes itself to an ideal an becomes something else entirely.

Take a Focus, get a free Evade action from Isard at the start of the combat phase, trigger PTL from that to boost (after everyone else has moved, so you get the full picture for choosing boost direction). Jerjerrod can toss Mara and then himself if the single green and Evade token don't cut it. Mara helps by making the enemy think hard about getting range 1 shots.

It's a 60pt build, my current filler is Howl+Ruthlessness, Scimitar+Proximity Mine.

Howl uses Kenkirk as a battering ram, exploiting Mara to make opponents even less likely to close with the Decimator, and replacing the TL after it takes damage. Scimitar runs interference and gets to plop down another NO FLY ZONE.

I think with Oicunn you need the dauntless title. Also I think daredevil is a good addition. You can't perform a boost if you would bump another ship but you can daredevil into them.

I recently made a video on Oicunn, I really like him. Couple him with intimidation and set your enemy up for for death from the rest of the team.

Personally, though, I'm really curious as to how anyone will fit the generic pilot into their game plan. 40 points for a Decimator seems like a very reasonable start that won't gobble more than half your squad (just half )

Yes, if you have no way to remove the stress. Yorr or my favorite, a Black Squadron pilot with Wingman, help nicely with this, or Experimental Interface.

Frankly, Chiraneau plus Expose, Experimental Interface, Ysanne, and Mercenary CoPilot is a bad, bad man.

I could see trying out Patrol Leader x2, leaves 20 points for upgrades.
