One of the good things about not knowing much about the EU or Clone Wars is that we're not tied to any preconceptions about how things are 'supposed to be'.

We just play it like the book says; Makashi Duelist uses Presence because it does, not because it's trying to emulate something in some media we've never seen.

The system shoudn't be dependent on whatever went before.

Fair enough. It just struck me as odd split between Warrior and Mystic.

It won't affect what I want to do as eventually would like to take Seeker Career with Ataru Striker Specialisation.

Just thought best to query before everything set in stone rather than afterwards.

For what it's worth, the talents on Mystic:Advisor sure sound like Dooku to me...

Dooku totally feels like a "Mystic." He's no Guardian, and Sentinel doesn't fit either. Consular is close, but "Mystic" is so much better.
