Been away for a while and wasn't sure if a similar list has been posted so I'll post it now...if you guys wouldn't mind giving me some feedback on it I would really appreciate it!

Using luke to pass off PS, his ability along with Jan Ors ability to turn focus into evade make luke really a pain to deal with, when/if luke dies the b wing will use that evade on itself...nothing special but looks like a decent place to start

Swarm Tactics is all well and good but you could put R3-A2 on Luke for the same cost.

I would drop the advanced sensors from the blue to give luke r3a2 and make one of the rookies a blue or make Luke Wedge. I like the idea but i don't think you gain much from two ps 8 ships, you still fire after whisper has decloaked and after echo if the imperial player has initiative.

He might not have R3-A2. It is a transport card after all.

Have to say I'm not a fan of generic X-wings. I think Bs are over-all more efficient (just take more of beating and can get very nice acton efficiency for cheap) and that Zs are much better filler (half the cost, loses only 1 red die and a single point of hull)

About the only time I field rookies is to give Swarm Tactics Airen a buddy on the cheap, since B-wings can't really keep up. At PS 8 with both a Target-lock and a focus, those 3 red dice start to get real scary

Without that, though, (or the relvent Astromechs they keeped locked away in a prohibitively expensive expansion ) I wouldn't bother with rookies over Blues or Bandits. Character X-wings are where it's at
