Next Expansion?

By Electris, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

I am crossing my fingers for another co-op expansion.

If FFG starts putting out more a whole series of solo/co-op expansion I will be so much starting playing Descent. Im mostly a RPG:er and I like dungeoncrawler board games a lot, but I donĀ“t like to have a Dungeon Master/Game Master in those kind of games too (which, lets face it, usually falls on the guy owning the game. And well... I might as well play D&D for that). This is why I got into LotR lcg, D&D Adventute Board Games, Arkham Horror etc. So really really hoping the FFG starts putting out more co-op expansion. Take my money!

Like I said many times before, fair enough if people enjoyed the co-op expansions and want more. I have exactly zero interest in that, therefore I am hoping for "normal" expansions using the core game as a base.

I also hope for a cooperative box which will definitely draw me away from other (non FFG) dungeon crawlers, but I understand that it will be a system completely different from the full campaigns (which I enjoyed a lot when I had more time) and it probably won't be appreciated by all Descent gamers.

However, since there are already other cooperative dungeon crawlers in the market, I would be glad if FFG will put enough effort on dealing with the issues related to replayability and playing time which,is limiting the fun of my group. We had to create a variant for them ( Sudden Death at the Cursed Mountain ) but I probably won't give my money for having a product with the same constraints.
