treasure room space

By Dungeon Master2, in Talisman Rules Questions

A player is eliminated on the treasure room and dumps all of his stuff there. I move up and win the battle against the lord of darkness later in the game. Can I take all of the stuff on the space that was left by the player that was eliminated there?

The turn chart looks in the rules looks like you have to follow the instructions on the space first which means I have to move from the treasure room before I get to pick up stuff. I submitted a rules question form but didn't get an official answer yet. We're playing the dungeon again tonight so anyone have any ideas if this is correct?

actually... nobody can pick those objects up..

After the fight, you are teleported to a other space and everyone who land on the lord of darkness must fight him first.

this problem also occurs in third edition. Bad luck then for all those items.

Displacement should come in handy.

Indeed gran_risa.gif

But you can send only one card to a other space right?

I don't have the card next to me... preocupado.gif

I know this is a major bump, but thought about this a while back, when a character was forced to ditch something in the Treasure Room space to take the Treasure. Cards come before the space, OP says the turn sequence has space > cards, but the rules go the other way, cards > space, space comes last. For example, Ghost in Village space, have to deal with Ghost before you can take any option at Village, assuming you beat the Ghost, if you lose or stand-off, turn ends.

Was this the part where the turn sequence chart is wrong?

No gui%C3%B1o.gif , as there is no must on picking up cards that are on the space to encounter later numbers and/or space, you have the option to pick them up. Oasis with Runesword and Idol (#5 and #6), if you're a Good char, you encounter the Runesword, but can't do anything about it, so move on to Idol. Water Bottle at Tavern, you're at carrying limit and don't want to swap WB for something you do carry, so move on and roll at Tavern.

Duhhh. Its hard to think about these rules sometimes without the board in front of you :)

That just tells me you haven't played enough Talisman. When the board is semi-permanently fixed on your retina, things are easier partido_risa.gif .

What's OP? Do you mean that the flowchart on the back contraddicts the rules? We play cards before space, but my set is at my friends house (getting painted gran_risa.gif ), so I can't check right now.

OP = Original Poster IIRC gran_risa.gif .

Flowchart goes: Enemies, Space, Objects/Followers etc.
