A little help with my squad

I'm sure there is already a post somewhere about this and I just read one very similar to this but I was looking for some help constructing a nice tie interceptor squad. My initial squad was:

Soontir fel (27)

Push the limit (3)

Royal guard tie (0)

Stealth device (3)

Targeting computer (2)

Carnor jax (26)

Opportunist (4)

Stealth device (3)

Turr phennir (25)

Veteran instincts (1)

Royal guard tie (0)

Hull upgrade (3)

Stealth device (3)

Total points: 100

I'm willing to just about any changes but I want to keep soontir in there and focus around interceptors if possible.

Overall, I think this list is pretty solid if you are shooting for a 3 named-interceptor pilot list. I'm not extremely experienced with Carnor Jax, but I don't think I've seen opportunist on him. Very cool choice considering he will shoot last out of the three you have listed.

I would definitely want to test out your list as is...and if I were to make any changes it would be to replace opportunist with PTL. The reasoning behind this would be to allow you to get into range one easier with boost/barrel roll and take a second action to focus up. Range one Carnor can seriously mess with some ships.

I'm not a mathwinger or anything, but I believe 4 attack die with focus would be stronger with 5 (assuming you had to use your action to get into range 1). That being said, there are those situations with expert flying where you wouldn't need your action to get into range one and you are rolling 5 attack die with focus.

Looking over the list one more time, I'd consider moving your hull upgrade on Turr to Carnor. As I had just mentioned, Carnor's ability can just wreck certain lists/ships, so he'd probably have the biggest target on him (perhaps another reason to use PtL).

This list seems super fun.
