Scum Boba

So I was looking at some Scum lists and, with the recent buff to autoblasters, was wondering what you guys thought of running Scum Boba with autoblasters. Also, I was thinking of throwing on Greedo to really spice things up. Is this viable or are autoblasters still not really worth taking?

I fail to see the synergy between autoblasters and his pilot ability. On the contrary: Autoblasters roll one less die than the primary attack. One less die means the pilot ability is less likely to take effect.

Autoblasters are still an overpriced piece of junk. Except maybe on the Outrider and hypermobile Ten.

Surely destroying a ship (especially 1 that hasn't shot at you yet this turn) is much better than getting 1 additional re-roll on your 2 agility?

Compared to destroying a ship at Range 2 it's not an unreasonable statement.

Perhaps I should have worded it differently. Assuming the two ships have the same chances of being destroyed, I would shoot the further one for better defence.

Scum Boba is no different to Imperial Boba when it comes to Autoblasters, so not sure why this becomes an idea all of a sudden.

You could kidnap him?

Hypothetically though, I don't think he'd be as good as RS. Yeah, he might give you more evades under some circumstances (I dunno about the maths, and obviously it's a moot point so I'd be surprised if anyone's bothered working it out), but he costs you your action, meaning you don't have a focus for attack, and the usefulness of focus is of course increased for each die you re-roll, so that's a big loss.

Do you think reds are a big deal on a Firespray? I think of it as not needing to do them very often as his rear arc makes it easier to get a good shot without doing one. What would your strategy be with that upgrade (I can't remember which one it is either - are you sure it's not a pilot's unique ability)?

unless your being shot at by multiple other ships outside of range 1 that's a false economy, essentially allowing your opponent an extra attack die in exchange for 1 extra defense die reroll? everyone knows the dice favor attack dice and I see no reason in this instance to give my opponent more than I have to, your actually increasing your opponents statistical damage output in doing so.

The situation was assuming multiple other shots from other ships, as that's usually the case

I wonder if it's worth putting a Stealth Device on him. Normally I'd only use it on a 3 Agi ship, but defensive rerolls are a new thing.
