Dan's Taunt vs Floating Effects

By GraveLord, in UFS Rules Q & A

Dan's Taunt triggers when you take damage from an opponent's card or effect. If there are floating effects waiting to resolve, can I play Dan's Taunt after those effects resolve or is that too late?

Example:

My opponent plays an ability that adds card to their hand if the attack deals damage during the enhance step (the floating effect). I take damage during the Damage Step, let his ability/effect resolve and then play Dan's Taunt. Since both abilities work when damage is dealt and his ability was already "floating" then it should happen 1st before Dan's Taunt.. well, that's my thinking.

Am I correct?

Thanks in advance.

My understanding was that floating effects always resolve when triggered before any R's to that trigger can be played. So yes, you'd be correct.

As AP alluded, it's not even an option. You have to wait until said floating effects have resolved before you may play a response to the same trigger.
