A little OT: Moddable FPS for online RPG purposes.

So, I'm going to three-prong my 128th Recon project. There will be a campaign done for XWM Eventually, (Assault gunboats needed) but with the recent GOG releases I'm wanting to do a campaign in XvTBOP my XVTED has been brushed off and ready to go.

Now, my Recon squadrons occasionally land on planets to do stuff, so i'm looking for CRPG /CFPS ideas that:

Allow you to combat Rebel adversaries.

Allow easy creation of scenarios (NWN and Operation flashpoint come up here)

Ground combat a MUST, but possibility to fight inside starship environments.

Not just multiplayer/bot combat! (this eliminates the battlefront games).

Any thoughts?

If anyone knows of a doom or quake mod where you can play as stormtroopers/tie pilots and run though killing rebels with blasters - that'd do it. I can use map editors for those to create ground scenarios.

Edit: I am actually considering running a close up SWG EMU with just imperials to do this, but it seems limited.

I don't follow. Not just adversaries controlled by humans or by AI? What's left?

By bot I mean AI PVP bot - all they do is run around and shoot.. I am probably going to use NWN as that has scriptable behavior and pathing, for patrol routes etc.
