last question... i promise -

does anyone know where i can get a new talisman main board, without buying the full game?

i made the mistake of loaning the game to a friend a while back, and he returned the board all mangled up...

any ideas?

I think this was asked recently. But the only way to fix this is to buy a used game. I'd ask your friend to do it.

If someone (or FFG) made a smaller board I would purchase it in a heartbeat. Not much smaller - original one folds into 6 squares. One made of 4 such squares would be perfect.

I read somewhere that the Black Industries 4th edition board was a bit smaller. That's why there's some space between the expansion boards as ffg promised to keep their stuff working with BI edition. And the expansions should fit perfectly around that board.

I keep plugging this. I hope for a Deluxe board where the common space size is the exact size of the cards. This Deluxe version would have the main board and the 4 corner boards. And only the cards for these.

And hopefully do something for the Alternate endings similar to those which used to be found here:

I am glad I have them saved. And am only slightly certain the ones I have are the ones discussed in those locations. But they were Alternate endings on the smaller normal Talisman sized cards.
