I think this is the game I am going to get into with my friends & family however, I need some questions answered.

1. Once you have the base game you have everything you need to play?

2. Does the game come with all the character tokens?

3. Figures - whats the point in buying them? To me its all the same - something to represent your character.

4. What is the cost to play this game?

5. Storage for the game? I am sure this will be extra cost.

1. Yes. As with many of the top games these days, you can always buy more later via expansions, but the base game has everything you need.

2. Yes. See #3 below.

3. The game has all the tokens, so you don't NEED to buy the figures. I actually have Descent 2.0 and have never bought a Lieutenant or Hero pack for it. We just use the tokens when those characters are called for. However, if you're planning to play the Skirmish mode, it will probably be worthwhile to invest in the Ally and Villain packs, since those will give you more options.

5. If you just buy the base game, you won't need to worry about storage. If you start to buy some of the expansions then you might get to the point where you want to start looking at alternative storage solutions. This game is largely like Descent 2.0, so I'm planning to store and organize it the same way that I've done with my Descent game. Personally, I have used a couple of Stanley toolbox organizers ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00005QWYF/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ), because they can be easily customized to hold the various different cards, along with a Plano box ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CKIG4NC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) to hold the tokens. Everyone does it differently, but I have done it this way and I've been very happy with it.

Great find. I use the Plano Boxes for the cards, tokens, and counters. I'm going to look in to the Stanley box for the board tiles.

I've mentioned this previously, for $12.99 this four pistol Plano pistol case is inexpensive and quite stylish for carrying your games, I am hoping Fantasy Flight has card sleeve protectors for their Hero sheets coming up.

3) The figure packs also each come with a new side mission, as well as new cards that can be added to play (command cards, I think possible more item and class cards too, but I'm not totally sure.)

Great find. I use the Plano Boxes for the cards, tokens, and counters. I'm going to look in to the Stanley box for the board tiles.

Cool. Be aware that they have 2 different sizes (maybe more). One of them is like 3-4 inches deep, while the other is about 1.5 inches deep or less. I've found that I need the deeper box to store all my Descent tiles (core, Lair of the Wyrm, and Trollfens), while the more shallow boxes are ideal for cards and minis. The deeper box also holds my Large sized minis so for IA you'd probably use it for the AT-ST, and maybe the Eweb/Nexu pieces; the rest of your minis will fit in the smaller box. With IA, I'll probably start with 1 large and 1 small, and only expand when necessary. Of course, everyone knows that Plano storage boxes can't be beat for token storage (which it seems like all FFG games go overboard on!).

On a plus side, they're made to stack really well, and they're also nicely customizable and they hold your stuff well. On the negative side, I'd prefer it if I could find a less bulky storage solution that was still effective at keeping things organized.
