Are Crown Royal "Dice Bags" supposed to be velvety?????

Answering my own question: The crown royal "special reserve" bags are velvety (I just bought 3 on ebay) regular (the cheaper stuff) crown royal bags are NOT velvety, I don't know if they ever used to be.

Years ago my sons gave me their Mega Bloks Pyrates drawstring bag for dice,,,, they're still going strong:

I've got my semi-retired WHFRP3E dice in my Crown Royal bag. The 'active' dice are in various wooden boxes/chests I finished.

For almost 30 years I kept my dice in a translucent amber box just like the one pictured here. It carried my polyhedrals through my D&D years, then my D6's through my GURPS years. When I diversified the games I was running back in 2013, it was replaced by a number of separate containers which my girlfriend bought me for Christmas.
