In the final mission of the Point of No Return campaign (CR90), Mission T4: Minefield, tokens are spread among the asteroids containing charges and duds.
Rules are specifically provided for the Rebels to reveal the token. It says:
Probing the Field: If a small or large Rebel ship overlaps an asteroid, reveal and remove the charge token assigned to it from the play area. If it is a dud charge token, there is no effect. If it is an active charge token, the asteroid is also removed and the Imperial player rolls three attack dice. The overlapping ship suffers all damage and critical damage rolled.
(Page 8, Point of No Return Mission Booklet)
You'll note that is does not specify what happens when a huge ship runs into a mined asteroid. In the lack of any other guidance, one might argue that standard huge ship rules are followed, and the huge ship suffers one face-up damage card and the asteroid is immediately removed from play (Huge Ship rules, p. 4). This would mean any active charge token would not have the opportunity to trigger.
Thoughts? I can envision some situations where you'd rather ram the asteroid and take one face-up card than suffer three dice rolls, if that is indeed what this allows.
