Attachment Questions

By Incognito15, in Warhammer 40,000: Conquest - Rules Questions

Wife and I just got Conquest and we have never played a LCG before so have some questions.

1) Suffering - Attach to an army unit. Attached unit gets -2 ATK.

a) Can this be attached to a Warlord? Says army unit but I am not finding an entry that says your Warlord is not an army unit.

b) Is this a permanent attachment? I.E. If it is put onto a unit on the first planet that survives the battle and is sent to the HQ does it stay with that unit?

2) Experimental Devilfish - Vehicle. Transport. Reaction. After this unit commits to a planet, ready it.

a) I thought all units enter play ready. Confused.

b) Does transport do anything?

3) Shadowsun's Stealth Cadre - This card may enter play as an attachment with the text, "Attach to a non-Vehicle army unit. Attached unit gets blah blah.

a) Can these stack?

b) If on the first planet and it wins it stays attached even when in HQ?

Thanks!!

A) No a Warlord is a warlord unit.

B) Yes.

2 a) Units are deployed ready yes. Army units arrive at a planet when committing with their warlord from HQ exhausted

B) nothing in and of itself

3 a) Yes they do.

B) yes attachments don't get remove because the unit changes locations.

To clarify your first question, any unit that says 'Army' in the upper left is an Army unit. If it doesn't say it, then it's not.

There is three types of units: Army, Warlord and Token.
