So does this mean if I get a 2E pack those cards are not compatible with a 1E deck?

I wouldn't be surprised to see some people playing mixed decks in casual games, but no, the 2nd Edition is effectively a whole new game.

Since the resource curve, timing structure and key words are changing. Probably not.

-All plots are unusable since they lack the new stat: reserve

-Everything that has or uses influence is useless since influence disappears from the game.

Also the cost of most cards will be different... So no mixing in here...

The new logo I think also points to different card backs.
