I'm looking for 2 types of canon worlds with a particularly large black market presence:
1) Outer Rim, not close to Hutt Space
2) Outer/Mid border, within Hutt Space or close to it
Thanks in advance!

Edited by verdantsfComparatively, every planet in Hutt space will have a "large" Black Market. The biggest stick out is of course Nar Shadda. Its called the Smugglers Moon for a reason. Its a mini-Coruscant, but crooked deals happen everywhere even in broad daylight.
Eriadu should do it for a planet outside of Hutt Space. I also like Point Nadir for a thriving black market, but that Shadowport should be a very "big deal" of a find for a play group.
For near Hutt Space...pick a planet
here's always Nar Shadaa, Nal Hutta, Klatooine, Tatooine...
Celanon is another good one. Run by the fox like race called the Nalroni. All detailed in The Star Wars Planets Collection (SWRPG by WEG). You'll have to do some serious conversion of it though, as its all D6.
Heh, I forgot to say "other than Nar Shadaa." I definitely have plans for the Smuggler's Moon. Thanks for the tips, all!
Away from Hutt Space: Socorro.
Near Hutt Space: Sriluur
... Davenport Gateway?
For a world away from Hutt space, try Korbin. It is actually in the innner rim, but far from any trade routes. it is a lawless world, with no organized formal government.
here is a link to my wiki page for it:

You can also try Station Delta two-Zero.

For near Hutt space, you can try Kwenn Space Station. It does have an imperial presence there, but also a black market.

If you have access to the old WEG books, I suggest Platt's starport guide.
Mind you, about everything is "Legands" right now. There are not many "canon" planets out there. I'm not sure if you meant already existed in the SW universe, not fan made.

HD beat me to Socorro.

OMG This this this!
Very nice... I see a few specific gems hidden in there.
Say what you will about WEGs system, if you need not-so-canon-but-almost-totally-compatible-even-with-the-canon-wipe fluff material for your game, they probably have it.
Um, what do you mean "a FEW specific gems"? they are all GEMS!
I have about 95% of the WEG books, and still looking to complete my collection. I think for the era, they were great books, but I do admit, the adventure modules do leave a lot to be desired. Some of that art work was...let's just say...bad.
I intend to run Death in the Undercity as part of my campaign with an Edge of the Empire feel (instead of an Age of Rebellion feel), but I will be moving it to one of the other worlds in my sector. I still maintain Tatooine Manhunt is still one of the best adventures ever written for Star Wars.
Re artwork - I found Mike Vilardi's work to absolutely amazing. I wonder ever happened to that guy?
The Wheel space station is always a fun place for some not-quite-legal hijinks. It's pretty well covered in Beyond the Rim.
Also, Cartol's Emporium from user Jegergryte is a pretty cool place.
Thanks again for the input everyone. I had a good time learning more about the places you mentioned. Since several of my players are also forum members here, I won't say which spots I chose, but all of them are from this thread
.
One that's not quite hutt space but certainly has lots of backroom deals going on behind the scenes is Abregado Rae, it's technically a core world but don't let that fool you. Behind its facade of space Venice there's quite a large amount of smuggling taking place
Oh, never heard of that one. I'll check it out!
