The following is a true story, not even the name of the pilots were changed.

Sweat is dangling on my forehead as my latest squad building test lies in ruins around me. Tie academy pilot, Backstabber and Lieutenant Lorrir all dead. Meanwhile, Biggs is recharging his shields thanks to R2, Airen is preparing to turn back and Rexler, my sole remaining pilot, is facing off against Etahn at range 1!

I smile as I barrel roll, forcing Biggs out of Rexler's firing arc and leaving only Etahn, his E-Wing shieldless and with 1 hull damaged, but with a focus.

"I attack with my autoblasters".

One hit... I only need one hit! His focus and his dices are useless!

- Critical hit

- Critical hit

- Focus icon.

"You've got to be kidding me! I'm using predator."

- Rerolle the focus... into a third critical hit.

The odds of such a roll happening are litterally 0.048%! All I needed was a single hit, but he can dodge all of these if he's lucky. My worst autoblaster shot is followed by the worst evade roll ever: all blanks.

Rexler destroys Etahn, then tracks down Biggs and finishes him off. Airen reduces him to one hull, but the Tie defender's maneuverability allows him to get behind the Z95 and finish him off. Only the tie defender remains... and me shaking my head, still thinking about the worst autoblaster shot ever!

All I had left on the board was Rexler with Auto Blaster facing Fel, Echo and Jax. No hope left but I wanted to kill at least one ship I was range 1 of Jax with 1 hull left Jax attacked first and landed 1 crit on me

"next time you attack do not roll any attack dice and flip this card face down"

I just stood there holding the card if there was ever going to be a time where I would flip the table that would have been it

Next round Jax ran away Fel killed me
