I really dig this guy, interesting mechanic of cycling through your units to make him a beatstick, with the bird and a sac'd unit he is at 4 attack... which is pretty beefy for a warlord... his black ship is really tasty too... i wish it wasnt part of his commander set!
Coteaz on main page
Then it would be too good.
He seems like a great addition to the game.
Nice to have a Inquisitor
I would have prefered a female Inquisitor, but anyway.
Just saw it on the web page. Sweetness!
That is all....Carry on.
Yeah, the Black Ship is interesting
Apparently there are no females in Warhammer 40k?
Ach noooo! don't start the whole "female" thing again! the admins haven't recovered from the "inclusive" threads yet!
And, of course there are, haven't you seen the coliseum fighters card?

Sisters of... Adepta Sororitas are mostly female!
Will they be virtually ignored in this game like they are in 40K?

Started of as a theard bout imperial guard downtime and then went a bit OT. thats about female imperial guard.

The problem is that if they were to become a full fledged faction they would have to be wedged in between the AM and SM factions (to stay true to background) and that might uspet the balance.
Now since we have an inquisitor for an AM warlord, i'm hopefull we might see some sororitas (and grey knights) cards in either or both the AM and SM factions.

Oh god let's not bring that discussion here. I just like females is all.

Adepta Sororitas are all female. It's due to the prohibition from the end of the Age of Apostasy that prevents the Ecclesiarchy from having any Men at arms.

Don't forget Packmaster Kith and Shadowsun. 2 out of 7 core set warlords isn't too shabby I think.
If I had to place a wager on it, I'd say that well more than 5 out of every 7 players is a guy. So if guys want to play as guys then this ratio seems more than fair.
There are a fair amount of female Dark Eldar units. And I'm assuming many Chaos deamons, as well as all Orks (though I know they are basically masculine) are gender-less.
Plus - who knows how many Tau and Eldar could be women. Tough to tell with all those helmets on
All in all, I'd say there's already a fair amount of women in Conquest!
Edited by sammann11Please, please, please, don't start again with this. There was already a post about it (linked above), everyone behaved more or less correctly and no flames were started. This is the sum up of the thread:
- Yes, there are few female units in the card game.
- Yes, the game is more male oriented.
- No, male players don't have any problem with having more female troops/commanders in their decks.
- It's totally up to FFG (or the original developers) to cope with this situation and we can't do anything about it.
After reviewing the anounced cards i'm more hyped
I just need now more Astra Militarum psykers, and some Grey Knights Marines to bring on the mix to crush enemies in the name of the glorious Emperor with a full Inquisitor deck.
PS.- I will not comment on the Inquisitor name itself (Torquemada Coteaz). It's a already stablished lore character ( http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Torquemada_Coteaz ) and nothing to add about the references used... although, being spanish myself, using Torquemada as a name (its a family name) claims horror

Obviously, a reference to Tomas De Torquemada, perhaps the most infamous member of Spain's Inquisition. Never really cared for this type of references, so obvious and cheesy. Just curious, are you a descendant? Forgive me if this is too personal of a question.

Oh, nono, not even close to that. Should be epic!!
Nah, just that Torquemada is a family name in Spain and the character uses it as a personal name. So it just sounds really strange to me.
Nothing tragic enough to care about.
As you said, is just a reference. Nothing more.

I didn't know it either, but you can find it here: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/O'Shaserra
