I want to make an all A wing list. Here is my first try that went 2-0 against 2 imperial lists. Please any and all ideas are welcome

This was just a no thought list, but now I want serious thought and construction

My advice would be to switch out the Proton Rockets in favor of more meaningful EPTs. It's my opinion that Veteran Instincts is wasted on Gemmar, possibly on Jake as well. If you keep the Rockets, stick them with Gemmar. He's the one who really wants to get close in. In Farrell's case, I would ditch the Rockets for Outmaneuver and PtL

Going over the list again, this is what I would do:

Farrell - Outmaneuver, PtL, Refit, Test

Gemmar - VI, Rockets

Prototype x 3

This gives you reliable damage from your ace, a peak piloting skill of 7 and five ships on the board. The thing with A-wings is that you don't need them to strike first. In some ways, having to defend before attacking is advantageous because you won't use a token before you really need it. Having only two attack dice in general means those tokens are much more valuable in the defense. And, since Farrell has PtL, he can get a lot of mileage out of a Target Lock. This also gives him three actions in a turn.

I should of mentioned I'm the A Wing monkey in my group, been playing pure A Wing lists since it was released lol

Id drop the missiles for more refits, and slap on Outmaneuvers. A Stealth on Gemmer might be fun as well.

Are the 3 Prototypes with the refit?

Yes.

Monkey, A-wings are so much fun to use. In the last game I ran with Tycho and Farrell, they were awesome. It was actually not to difficult to get them into premier shooting angles. With PtL they were getting two hits on average. I've also been playing around with having two greens w/ predator.
