Multiple copies of the expansions

By Slade, in Warhammer 40,000: Conquest

Hi there. Only got the game a week ago and I'm reading a lot about multiple copies of the same game (2 - 3) if you are interested in the (competitive) deck building aspect of the game.

I'm wondering whether the same will apply to the expansions that are in the pipeline. I understood there are 60 cards in each expansion so the need for it is likely a lot less. Any ideas already on this?

Most likely you would only have to buy 1 expansion depending on the announcement of the deluxe. I am very positive you would only need to buy 1 deluxe expansion which gives you x3 copies of every card maybe except for the Warlord and signature units. The only exception where you would have to buy x2 deluxe would have been the Star Wars LCG (Edge of Darkness) that I am aware of.

Most likely as CaliAlpha said. That is what I hope.

Warhammer InvasionĀ“s first deluxe expansion also had to be bought two times if I remember correctly, be I think every expansion thereafter had 3 copies of each card.

The war packs of 60 cards are complete and you only need one copy.

For the record, Warhammer Invasion had to buy 3 copies of deluxe expansion for the first one that introduced High Elves and Dark Elves (Assault on Ulthuan?)

Same with first cycle of battle packs. This was before the change to all LCGs that made them 3x copies per pack.

I called it the LCG renaissance.
