How exactly should the Battle ability of Carnath work if you use it to duplicate the Battle ability of Atrox Prime?

Carnath text: Battle: Trigger the Battle ability of another planet in play.

Atrox Prime text: Battle: Deal 1 damage to each enemy unit at a target HQ or adjacent planet.

Should you:

1) Treat Carnath as having the text of Atrox Prime and deal damage to units at a planet adjacent to Carnath

2) Or should you deal the damage to units at a planet adjacent to Atrox Prime?

After looking more closely at the wording while typing my own question, I'm pretty sure it is #2. This same situation came up twice while playing today and both times we played it as #1 because we weren't sure about how to deal with the situation.

This has been answered elsewhere, but you are correct. You are not duplicating the ability on Atrox Prime, you are actually triggering that planet's ability. Therefore it's a planet adjacent to Atrox Prime (or enemy HQ).
