It wasn't. I have a hard time believing that you, personally, want to be more inclusive of anybody when your initial response to someone you disagree with is that they should be outright censored. Have you tried considering your own behavior, instead of blaming others (still) for your empathic shortcomings? I'm certainly not the one making sexist assumptions.

I guess that the proliferation of troll topics its not just few people's fault. If we never payed attention to that threads, not even posting to joke or to make a laugh at them, just simply ignoring them and letting them die, that would be the end of this situation.
I want all you to be able to identify and ignore the troll threads. Don't even look at them or answer them, and let the topics with a good/intelligent discussion on top of the forum.

I'm sorry that you feel the people here are selfish, the forums have been a little crazy lately, the first thread about gender was started by a well known long-time troll, and it got worse from there. I hope that my thread (about the PT) didn't offend you, because I explicitly stated I was making a joke about a fanbase I am a part of. I DO wish you well, so have fun.

EDIT: While there are trolls in this community, most of the time, people contribute.

If you are leaving the forums then, O.K. I get it. If you are leaving the GAME, ....then the terrorist... I mean trolls win.

The best way to cultivate a good gaming community is on the local level.

You know most of the gamers at your local shop, the good the bad and the trolls. You have the option to play someone. Don't play with trolls, get others to not play with trolls. Let the trolls know that its not about winning/losing, it's about playing an enjoyable game with a fellow human. Then every once in a while, give that person another chance.

Be the GOOD guy, help the other players out to play better/smarter. It helps the community.

We've done this with a lot of our games at our local store. Trolls, Bullies, Power gamers, ect. can't get an opponent for casual games. Then they aren't as practiced/good in the tournaments. Eventually they ask "why wont anyone play with me?", Then let them know, that certain type of gamers are not welcome. Who knows, maybe that big scary troll turns out to be a "Shrek".

Hopefully FFG will finally make a few forum moderators...

I'm sure those are in the later Wave releases, probably along with the Star Destroyer.

Don't let internet idiots make you give up on a game, otherwise you'll never enjoy a game. Just come here for the occasional squad idea or critique and enjoy the game.
