Whelp, today's the day. Let's all regal each other with tails of Halloween's past, shall we? I'll start with the game my group had last year (it's hard to imagine we've been at it for so long now...).

It was a regular run. The crime lord Vurrunna wanted to pull up a favor from the crew, and had them load up with passengers. Ironically, he wanted these passengers delivered safely so as to enact his vengeance upon them. The crew was carrying them to their dooms, and the poor suckers didn't even realize it.

Little did the crew realize that a little hitchhiker was going to bring them to that doom a lot quicker.

It started with one of the higher standing passengers; they found him dead in the 'fresher, ripped to shreds (literally). Panic started to ensue, and the crew tried to calm them down. Despite their efforts, one of the passengers took some of the others and they boarded themselves up in the cockpit. The crew began to try breaching the door, but as they brought forth the explosives, they heard sickening ripping and cracking sounds coming from within. When they opened the door, it was like someone ad stuck a grenade down their stomachs. The passengers were beyond recognition, and the computer was down, They were stuck in hyperspace.

The crew decided the time for subtlety was past. They rounded up the passengers, armed them with blasters, and began the search. They soon found that their culprit was a strange, mythical creature. It could melt through the walls and go anywhere.

After some time, one of the passengers yelled for backup; the best was in the engine. They crowded around, and waited. The beast leaped out, trying to kill whatever it could, but it was wounded, and made its retreat. Despite all its worth, the beast was put down.

The crew eventually fixed the computer, and dropped the passengers off with Vurrunna. Right as they thought the fight was over, they walked into the hands of their enemy. The crew was assured that the passengers were all crooks, but they still looked in disdain at the situation. The passengers had gone through space trapped with a beast, and now they were going to be killed by this crime lord. Guess that's how it works.
