I'm not a huge fan of Nightmare. He doesn't have the best access to draw, and his vitality is less than satisfactory.

I think he's cute in the same way Night Terror was.

Cursed Blood is definitely a major help to Death and Good, especially for decks that multi-symbol.

I'll say this much, if Nightmare can find a way to somehow out-build his opponent WHILE running immense CCHax? Then yeah, of course it'll help.

Nightmare + Hunger for Souls is pretty nice, I think his main problem will be keeping up with the tempo other decks can set -- plus Blinding Rage / Makai High Noble being in half the decks in the meta (because everyone loves Air)

Well, the other thing to keep in mind is that, with destruction OUGHT to come outspeeding and outpacing the opponent. However, almost all of Nightmare's support involves blowing up your own stuff, OR them having MORE, which is pretty much counter-intuitive.

If this game still had its lovely RHKicks to the face, then yeah, maybe. But he's got some viability to him. Soul Edge* is pretty coo.

I get what you mean, darklogos. I remember this game doing extremely well in its first year, in 2006. Things went downhill starting in 2007 with incredibly overpowered cards. Since these cards would be available for 2 years, the devs then needed to come up with more overpowered cards to counter the overpowered ones. The last set looks very promising, though, as the first set of the next block. Here's hoping that the trend continues for upcoming sets.

The trend should continue, as it was a cumulative effort between Horvath and Hata to try to make more cards playable (as noticed by the surplus of 3-check attacks)

as long as the cards is worth the 2CC or even the 1CC it will be run look at shadow blade, feline spike and older cards like blazing cadenza and roundhouse kick i ran all those cards at some point or another and i loved every minute of it
