I thought we already established that they use a rowboat at FFG... one operated by a genial, bearded old man that everyone likes, but he just takes FOREVER to get anything done so they kind of resent him.
it is ON the boat, just that the boat is still anchored
I bought mine at GenCon thinking, "I'm going to feel like an idiot paying MSRP if they come out in a couple weeks." Every day makes me feel that much happier. I feel like the grinch, I'm happy and everyone else is miserable.
...Then I think about how much longer till my preorder of Scum and Villainy comes in and I'm sad again.
Just three more weeks!
KILODEN, any chance that you are just cubanboy in disguise?
Well I am sure this thread will speed things up

The FFG delivery ship is powered by the complaints of the impatient.
The boat was sighted!
It is rather economy ...

Didn't we already decide the boat is actually a spaceship and it's coming from another galaxy?
Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming.Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming.
Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming.
Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming.
Meanwhile, in a secret location, the ship's captain faces a brutal interrogation at the hand of the secret service. A bright light shines in his face while a platter of extra sweet chocolate cookies rests in front of him... but no banta milk in sight.
Captain: "But I keep telling you the same thing! The bombs that come with the decimator are just playing cards, see? There is no actual bombs in our cargo!"
Secret service agent #1: "Our sources tell us that you are delivering those accross the country to fanatics..."
Captain: "They're not fanatics, they are gamers!"
Secret service agent #2: "... like we said, you are delivering them to fanatics..."
Secret service agent #1: "The sooner you start cooperating, the sooner you'll get a glass of milk..."

NO, I AM NOT CUBAN BOY IN DISGUISE.
just a fan growing ever more impatient, it just seems to me that their schedules for releases in this game are way the hell off lately.
they have scum listed as Q4. still at factory stage....good luck.
the transport reprint hit the boat 3 months ago.
I think I may want my new Boba before my decimator, but its a close one.
to be honest, I really want my robotech kickstarter reward, they have been shipping them out for almost a month now, still haven't gotten mine. been waiting for that for over a year, maybe that's why im so impatient, im sick of waiting for stuff.
Agreed. This is the last time I pre-order anything X-Wing. Seems most of the stuff is readily available once they finally hit the streets anyways. I ordered through Miniaturemarket about 2 months ago and pre-ordered other stuff from another game company that can actually deliver their goods reasonably close to their projected release date and the Decimator and Outrider are holding them up. I figured that if they can have some for sale at GenCon the rest can't be far behind, right?
Next time I'll just assume that whatever quarter the projected release is to tack on another quarter or two and not worry about pre-ordering.
yeah, I pre ordered right after gen con when it was still listed as Q3.
I would like to remind FFG that their shipments would also get through customs a lot quicker if they would just pull their finger out and hire a jedi.
Jedi: You don't need to hold up this shipment.
Customs Officer: We don't need to hold up this shipment.
Jedi: We're free to go about our business.
Customs Office: You're free to go about your business. Move along.
We're glad you're excited. In the interest of gradually improving these forums, threads that do not contribute anything of note will be locked or deleted.

As has been commented on several times, international shipping is far from a precise science. It's always a best guess scenario, sitting on top of a dozen or more variables that even the most experienced logistics managers can't predict with 100% accuracy.
It's actually on two boats, but one keeps barrel rolling backwards and the other keeps trying to ram the first one.
It might be caught in traffic.
Probably those darn Somali pirates at work again.
Probably those darn Somali pirates at work again.
We all know how much those Somali pirates love to fight. They just wanted to play harder than they work...
They heared about a very very precious treasure on the move and
now they have thousands of probe pirates searching the seas....

impatience leads to frustration,
frustration leads to anger,
anger leads to hate,
and hate leads to me whining and complaining and just get the **** wave out already..........
