I played my second game of The Frozen Wastes last night and we weren't sure about when you can eat Deerkin Liver. To me it seems like an interupt sort of thing that should be able to be done at anytime.

Is there a particular phase this should be done?

If not, can it be eaten when you move to a spot, but before you take any new frost?

How about as you are taking multiple frost, but right before you take enough to turn to white death?

How about as you take the just enough to turn to white death, but before you convert the tokens?

After you eat the deerkin, cancel all frost, so if you have 2 frost and move in a spot that gives another 2 , eat the deerkin and cancel all 4 frost, if you have only 4 lives, and so the last frost will turn in a white death, eat the deerkin before to move, cancel the 2 "old" frost, then move and take the frost received from the spot you moved in. (so in this case you can't cancel the frost right before turning in white death, but before "taking the action" or "suffering the damage" that gives you more frost)
