I actually hope they use this one. I think it would be the perfect addition.
As do I. Since it was used by all three factions, they could include three pilot cards and a plethora of awesome upgrades, as well as nip calls for a Scum epic ship in the bud.
I cant decide if it looks more like a "Dust Buster" or a lunch box...
I thought the idea of the Bulk Freighter from the X-Wing games was a great one, particularly if the cargo pods are detachable.
Ugggh. never liked this ship. also I don't think of it as an imperial ship. fits scum better. I'm hoping there will be many more epic ships, but it looks less likely with armada on the horizon. I'd like to have 4 or 5 epic ships per side myself, but that seems unlikely.
Holy Bimbam
I think the reason speculation has dropped off is we've pretty much stated all the possiblilties.
BFF-1
Action transport
Gozanti cruiser
Vigil Corvette
Customs corvette
Lancer or Tartan
Maybe the Nebulon-B
I think that's about it, that would fit this game.

Agreed.
I would flesh out your list as follows:
BFF-1 - Imperial
Action transport - Scum
Gozanti cruiser- Imperial
Vigil Corvette- Imperial
Customs corvette- Imperial
Lancer or Tartan- Imperial
Maybe the Nebulon-B - Rebel/Imperial
Of these, I think that the Customs Corvette and the Neb B should be lower on the list of priorities. The latter because it's potentially too big. (Though the Shapeways version that melminiatures produces, pictured below (order here ), is totally boss!) The former... I don't know. I guess subjectively it just feels odd.
Neb B won't be released as Imperial - while it's an impy design it's always seen in use by the Rebs.
Similar to the CR90 really...
Interesting official page on starwars.com for the Imperial Gozanti .

Nice although they should make tokens to mark ships that are between the base to simulate flying over or under the connecting shaft of the frigate.
Here is a base outline I have come up with for use with a star destroyer,
Also working on plans for docking and launching fighters and what can be done while in the docking bay.
In a perfect worl I'd say a Victory Class or Interdictor Class star destroyer. The problem with th is if they had it to scale with the Corellian Corvette then the Victory would be almost he size of the table and the Interdictor wold mostl ikely not fit. I know there's atleast one EU destroyer sized ship for the Imperials but as of now there's nothing I can recall that is anything more than a gunboat really and frankly I'd rather have something that, lik the corvette, can be both a gun platform a buff/ debuffing ship.

You don't think you could go with a more interesting paint scheme?

Is it just me, or does this look like it belongs in an anime movie? I think it is a cool looking ship, but I would rather an Imperial Customs Corvette, which is what I'm putting my money on them releasing.
It's based on the artwork of Chris Foss who also worked on Homeworld and Guardians of the Galaxy.
So, the DP20 Frigate is totally out of consideration? It actually fits the game at the same scaling as the CR90, unlike many of those mentioned above.

I always thought the top bar looked like a handle. and it was a weird cutting or sci-fi tool.
Me I'm hoping for a classic wedge shape imperial ship. Even an out of scale really big Star Destroyer. They are soooooo iconic. Even if there movement was 0 and it was a model you flew around, over or under it would be gorgeous.

I thought the DP(snicker)20 was a Rebel ship...
like massively Rebel.
I'd love to have this coming with a Tie Fighter in the box

I suspect that the Gozanti is the most speculated upon Impy [huge] ship.
I want one too.

Not sure why but I've never liked the look of the DP20.
I'm pretty sure the first Imperial huge ship will not be the Gozanti. I think there is a feeling at FFG that Epic just needs a nudge in the right direction to take off. That nudge will be an Imperial combat huge ship, not a support vessel like the Gozanti.
My money is riding on them making a destroyer or corvette class ship. Not an Imperial reskinning of the CR90, but something of that size/class, but with an Imperial feel. I think they will design their own ship for this one, or maybe take a ship that is going to be in the next movie or Rebels show that we have not seen but the concept art and 3d models have been made of.
Once there is an Imperial ship that can pound Bwings and Falcons at RB5, then the Rebels will be forced to bring a CR90 to fend off the imperial ship. Then the game becomes about two huge ships to slugging it out while fighters and bombers try to get air (space?) superiority to tip the scales with a good bombing run.
Edited by ZoccolaIs this a gun on the back side of the Gozanti ?
Hopefully its getting a hardpoint there ^^
