Octgn

By AussieJedi, in Warhammer 40,000: Conquest

Hey everyone!

I havent used octgn since around when Star Wars first started, so I was wondering what I need to do now to get Octgn up and running.

I have been able to lob into my old password and user name and was wondering where to take things from there for Conquest

Would be great to have some assistance

I need some help here, too.

I have never used Octgn but am interested. Is it easy/intuitive to use?

I went to the website but didn't see anything about Conquest.

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

OCTGN takes some getting used to. I only just recently learned how the servo-skull works (which isn't what you might think).

You can always start a solo game (just create a game and 'start' it before anyone can join) and play around. It seems to be mostly right-click run, in that, you rightclick on whatever you want to use and choose from a menu (generally).

Alright - well, I played, or attempted to play, my first game on OCTGN. 2 questions:

1) when I build a deck do I need to include the planets, servo-skull, etc.. Or just build it with the 1warlord plus 50 cards like I would on cardgame db?

2) Are the key functions/controls written anywhere? I was having trouble remembering how to target, win command, capture, move to next phase, etc...

I know this may not be the best forum to ask these questions in but I know a lot of you play.

Thanks!

1) No you just need your deck of 50 (or more), planets, servo-skull etc. is taken care of by the module itself.

2) Not that I know of, but it's not a long list, most everything is done by either right-clicking on something and selecting from that list, or right-clicking on an empty part of the board and picking from that list. Wouldn't take long to compile your own list.

the only non-intuitive one is shift-clicking to target
