Yea, that's what I was expecting to hear. Bummer.

That's why Keyan carries it for other B-Wings so you can destress at will.

I use Black Squadrons with Wingmen all the time, particularly now with the Experimental Interface Decimator to launch Expose every turn. I can still remove stress, then trigger Ysanne for the free evade during the combat phase.

You do know that you can trigger Isaard for the evade and then use experimental interface to trigger expose, right? Although wingman would still be really nice in that situation so the decimator isn't limited to a green next turn. I'll have to look I to that.
