We so need a thread on designing Pink Five's pilot ability. XD

Even when Mara was(one of)the Emperor's Hand she spent time among scummy folks. I'd be surprised if she wasn't part of scum as a pilot eventually. Of course if we slip time even further she becomes solidly rebel.

And if we're doing that then I want my PS9 Wedge Tie Fighter.

While I would love to see the original posters three female characters, the chances of seeing Jaina solo and Mara Jade-skywalker are zero. The expanded universe is gone. Luke has probably never met Mara and Han and Leia may or may not have any kids.

Any characters we do see will be do in name only, and likely not the same as written in the expanded universe (now legends).

That makes the three pilots that the original poster cited more likely than jaina or mara (being anything other than an emperor's hand)

However, the new fiction may be opening doors for more female imperials.

Ru Murleen. They've already mined Rebel Assault for the TIE Phantom, so why not?

Unnamed female x-wing pilot also had her flight scenes cut, but is still in Mon Mothma's briefing in her officer's uniform (She's standing behind Lando when he shows up all Generally and stuff).

Mara Jade is already in the game as a crew card, so hopefully we can see her as a pilot some time.

Given FFG designs the game around ships rather than pilots, I'd say a Mara Jade Z-95 would be a possibility were it not for the fact that FFG seem to be going with Mara as Emperor's Hand rather than as one of Karrde's people. Still possible though when the Z-95's turn comes around again. The cut pilots (why they dubbed one is beyond me. They dubbed over British actors too in 4) don't have backstories so they're unlikely. Jaina Solo I think is too far in the future (plus I very much doubt they'd give the TIE/x1 buffs to the rebels).

I understand the point you're making but there is/will be precedence for a multi-faction character with the upcoming release of Wave 9. Sabine Wren is currently Rebel crew, but will be a full fledged pilot in her own right when the Shadowcaster finally comes out.

It certainly stands to reason that enough community interest in a Scum Mara could eventually persuade FFG to make it a reality. It worked for Defender Maarek.

I was hoping Jess Pava would be a good low ps pilot like Ryad, but after the ARC preview I have no hope.

No, that would be Wedge: X-Wing, E-Wing, Y-Wing, A-Wing, B-Wing, YT-1300, TIE Fighter, TIE Interceptor, TIE Defender, TIE Bomber, Delta 7 Aethersprite, Lambda-Class Shuttle, Z-95 Headhunter and a few more.

I would also loe both of them In the game, same with a bunch more Rogue Squadron and Wraith Squadron pilots.

Though I must add that i think she was actually in Corran horn's flight, and not Gavin's wingman so woldn she have synergy with someone in her fight or even her own wingman (though that varied)?

Either way, FFG needs to use a bunch of the old novel and comic characters as well as the new!

Also someone mentioned Ru Murleen, yeah I'd live to see her too. We already have Jake Farrell so it would make sense to get her too.
