Its been a while...

Its been a while since I last looked into this game. Okay, when it was first released over here (UK) I loved every minute of it, but due to the local playgroups decision to not look at any game other than a certain one created by a certain company I have ended up playing something differant and yet neither game for the last few years.

And I still play said game (I dont know about your policy for mentioning rival products. Which is why I'm saying they exist but not which ones). However a few friends have had a minor interest in this thing and I thought I'd dust off ethe wallets and get teh cards out again.

So here's a quick question, before I trawl all the way through the forum: is there a program that I can download that has the entire card database in and lets me design/build a deck? It'd make things a whole lot simpler.

I don't know about any software, but this website it pretty helpful and should get you up to speed if you're wanting to see all the cards: www.twoheadeddragon.com/ufs/index.html

There is also www.coolstuffinc.com which has a database of all of the UFS cards in the game as well. A little less direct to determine things from, but has a solid data base, more updated than THD and has slightly faster load times (in my experience).

And yes, its usually ok to mention other games, just don't get all crazy advertisement about them (IIRC).

Cheers lads, that at least gives me a starting point. Although I'll just be playing casual games, what's this I keep hearing about 'card legality'?

Only cards with the 4-point or 5-point shurikens in the text box are legal for competitive play.

Also, there were some promo cards that will never be legal: Li Long's Conditioning, 6(?)* Mitsurugi, 2(?)* Donovan, and a few others, shouldn't really be a problem if you're just playing casual games.
