Nope, they lock you in a cage until only one person remains. The final Championship table is untimed!

If anytime during the elimination bracket two players tie, either by killing each other completely via simultaneous fire or by having the same amount of points remaining at the end of a timed round, the winner is the player with initiative.

Meaning the player who took initiative and not the one who won the bid, right?

Worlds is open. Whoever registers and shows up plays. Of course the best players generally make an attempt at going.

My understanding is that many of the Nationals events outside of North America provided a free flight and accommodations for the winner.

thats an old school swarm list Hothie... went for strength of numbers over upgrades on Howlrunner eh? I see that ur Obsidians will be shooting before other commonly played rookies so you plan is to keep Howlrunner at long range/out of arc of concentrated fire and let the Obsidians take the front line?

I really think I need to make a point of going to Worlds next year. I live an hour away from the event center so there's almost no reason not to.

The last round I blocked whisper from decloaking, blocked the maneuver, and had Backstabber out of arc range 1, black at range 1, and obsidian with range 1 to finish off whisper.

Out of curiosity, did all your TIEs have focus? And how much health did Whisper still have at that point? And... was Howlrunner providing rerolls to any/all?

I'm math-nerdy and want to calculate those odds, but it all adds up to a dead Phantom without actually running the numbers.
