Hey everybody. I just got set up over here and am currently in very rural Kansas so my internet time is limited. Can anybody tell me what the procedure is for obtaining scout privileges? Maybe contact Paul? I sent him an email prior to the old boards closing but i left for the holidays and now i am totally out of the loop.
Also, what is the website for the new OP site? I am completely out of it right now.

It should be working I was able to register for December but I still don't know if we are supposed to register for Jan yet Paul hasn't said anything?
Only 4 days left. I went ahead and registered. Air is the only special tourney type available. It would be nice to have a "special" option for when we do something other then Stanard or Legacy (Like Common Grounds or Highlander or whatever).

Scuba - Don't screw your players. We were supposed to book our December tournaments on the site, the January PotM is available as a choice on the OP site. Nothing has been announced that things have changed.
As a scout your expectations have been set - register by the 16th for international, and 18th for Domestic tournaments.
jedahorus - At this time there is not a scout forum. That may change in the future.

Well, sadly I managed to get on using a school computer, but it seems that I am not allowed to make tournaments because they need to be set in the future.
What is this?

You can still use the old scouts forum at the old forums if you wish to do so.

Are you going to the new site? or are you still trying to use the GRT Site?
Whoa Antigoth I did register for december dude just usually we have a monthly OP statement from the head of OP and we had none usually weather it was Justin , Johnathan , and Paul I would wait till it was posted thats all dude.

Sorry if I came on a little strong, but Paul's already responded elsewhere saying that "With the new software, tournaments must be booked by 16th for International, and 18th for Domestic. Going forward there will be no late tournament entry. If you do not enter your tournaments by the cut off, you will miss out. There will be no exceptions."
You have access to all the same posts and information I do regarding that, so I was just a little surprised that you were going to risk waiting in light of what Paul posted.

The thing is, we shouldn't have to do detective work, or search through the forums or guess to find out what the events are going to be for the next month. I didn't get last months tournaments scheduled on time (fortunatly Paul said he was mailing out the prize support anyways) because I waited too long for the information to appear. If there's somethign special this month, aside from POTM:Air and the pre-release, we're going to miss out on it, because we flat out didn't know about it... maybe we'll find out tomorrow, but that will be to late for our non-USA friends. And might be too late for some of us...
Really it would be nice to have the next months events announced at least a week before the deadline to register for those events. Either that or issue a time machine to all of the scouts.
I'm having this nice little problem where I only get to sign up 1 tournament every so often. Whenever I try to sign up more than it wants me to, it just takes me to a blank screen and adds a ? to the end of the address. Any idea why this is happening? I would kind of like to sign up the air event.
Church - It means you're putting too many characters, most likely in the title field.
Try abbreviating, and it should do wonders for you.
Aslum - When you're registering your events it tells you what's available, including that the next POTM is Air.
If you feel Paul should be announcing and there should be a monthly OP reminder thread, email paul at:
and let him know.
Also, as previously announced - the pre-release is in December. The next product release will not be until March. <This is announced in a news article on the front page> That means for both January and February there will be no release tournaments.

That means February will be POTM: Void.
