My friend and I were playing a game where I used living shadow on his attack. He choose to discard 2 momentum however he only had one momentium. He believes that he would not lose his one momentium sence it is an option that he can not fulfill that he would just lose 2 vit and not the momentium. But I think he would lose the momentium and the vit. Which is correct?

In point of fact, if he chooses the "discard two momentum" option, and only has one momentum, he'll discard the momentum AND lose the life.

Do as much as you can + Option you can't fulfill = PWNd.
