I know the EotE core rule book has a section about the Black Sun, but I was wondering if any previous Star Wars RPGs had good info. Specifically, I was looking at Scum and Villainy from the WotC Saga edition, and the WEG Shadows of the Empire sourcebook.

Has anyone used these books before?

Both Scum and Villainy and the Force Unleashed Campaign Guide, from Saga Edition, had some good info on Black Sun.

I think I read that book came out before Black Sun first appeared, so they are missing. I'll double check.

Yep, it was published before Shadow of the Empire, which is where Black Sun first appeared.

Here's a dumb thought, but how about the actual Shadows or the Empire sourcebook from WEG. The three largest sections in the book are Black Sun, the Fringe, and Planets.

Black Sun are one of the four main factions in my game and I used the WEG sourcebook extensively.

Secrets of the Sisar Run, old WEG adventure module has a fair bit in it

I also recommend secrets of the Sisar Run because it shows how vast the Vito's operations are and how you can end up working for the Black Sun without really even knowing it.
