Hey all.
My brother and I just played through the campaign that is available on this website and we encountered several problems.
First of it is possible to win either major or minor, in some of the scenarios, others you just win.
So Whats the difference? We played a tie 1 pts, a minor 2 pts and a major 3 pts, but nothing indicates that this is the way it should be played.
Seems kinda idiotic that there is different kinds of wins and not rules as to how the work.
Second. Scenario 3 or 4 (can't remember) the one where the Reich and the Union is being attacked by deamonic creatures throghout the game is just poorly made.
The special rule states that the a player chooses a character on his opponents team and attacks him with a pool of 6 dice at the end of each turn.
If the Reich solves an objective this roll is reduced by 2 dice, for each objective solved.
The Union solves it and they have 2 more dice to shock against the attack... Am I the only one who can see how much that favours the reich?
4 dice, shocked against 4's is MUCH better than 6 dice, shocked against 6's.
It's a stupid mistake to assume that reducing dice pool is generally the same as adding dice to the shockroll, it's so not and it's a major advantage to the Reich.
Thirdly, the last scenario, 7 Words, is just stupid. There is a very big chance that most of your characters will die even before they can possible kill the Blutsturm agent.
We enjoyed the campaign, but the final scenario... the CLIMAX was just so insanely poorly written that it completely spoiled the experience. 7 Words is the worst scenario I've ever played, it's a waste of time.
Anyway. Anyone else had experiences with this campaing?
