Name of Jabbas Pet?

By Tirisilex, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Whats the name of the creature thats Jabbas Pet thing that hangs with him? I've seen him in the Clone Wars as little companions for people. Thought it would make a great "Parrot" for a Smuggler. I need the stats for him as well.. But I cant find him in the Menajerei. Any ideas?

salacious crumb. It is a Kewokian monkey lizard.

I can only find stats for it for Star Wars D20. +4 dex, -2 wis, -4 cha, limited chameleon abilities And this Isnt much. Any Suggestions for stats for this little guy?

How does this sound for a Kewakian Monkey Lizard?

Brawn 1

Agility 3

Intellect 1

Cunning 2

Willpower 1

Presence 1

Start EXP 75

Wound Threshold 4+Brawn

Strain Threshold 8+Willpower

SKullduggery 2

Stealth 2

Well you don't make NPCs in the same way you make PCs.

So you'd just use the above statline. no xp. Id also give it brawl trained 2. It still can slap somebody around.

A spanking monkey lizard (badum tish)

I still can't get over the fact they changed the species name from Kowakian lizard monkey to Kowakian monkey-lizard. I have been calling them KLM since 1990! But oh well. I look at the species name as a "dialect" or regional preference, but the names mean the exact same thing; kind of like of pop and soda.

I don't know if I would give them an Intelligence of 1. While they are not super intelligent, they are not dumb either. According to EU/Legends Salacious B. Crumb can talk as well. I would give them a 3 in Cunning. I am getting ready to introduce a Kowakian Lizard Monkey in to my game. Since I am old and refuse to change the species name :) I have named him Klim (KLM). His full name is Klim T. Smidgen.

BadMotivator is right on the NPC thing. I wouldn't worry to much about his stats other then his characteristics. Even then, make the NPC for the encounter that you are designing. Klim Stats:

Brawn: 2

Agility: 2

int: 1

Cunning: 3

Willpower: 2

Presence: 1

WT: 4 + Brawn

ST: 8 + Willpower

I don't have skills or talents for him yet, but he will be sitting around 150 XP level. I am not going to try to make the rest of the species stats like they do with the player types. I just came up with his characteristics, and will assign him talents and skills that I see that will fit with my design.

I dunno about a Brawn of 2.. He's awefully small and skinny.

The tattoo and pierced ear give him the 2 Brawn. :D

Also, as a "primate" the muscle mass is of a KLM is going to be proportionally higher than most creatures.

don't forget size 0

Calling it a Lizard-monkey or monkey-lizard has nothing to do with it being related to terrestrial primates and more to do with naming it based on what it appears to be a cross between. So, I wouldn't expect it to have a higher muscle mass to size than most creatures.

Have you ever been punched by an Anorexic girl? He's as thin as one.. maybe thinner..
