I plan on trying one of these lists this weekend but I doubt I'll get more than a single game in, so which one do you think shows the most promise.

Version 1:

Horton Salm w/ Proton Torpedoes x2, R5

Version 2:

Uhh none.

Also in list three. Don't you think putting r2d2 on one rookie will be worth more than a second proton torp?

I like Version 2 personally. R5-P9 gives you more survivability, but I'm concerned that once Salm drops his torpedoes, he won't be as good. 2 dice at 2-3 isn't that good, even with predator-like abilities.

I'd take list 3. I prefer X-wings.
