What would your Pilot Skill be?

By Third Sphere, in X-Wing

I've noticed a lot of threads about inventing cards etc. so in that spirit...

(sorry if this has been posted already - didn't see it)

If you had to make a pilot card for yourself:

1) Which Faction would you be?

2) What ship would you fly?

3) What would you pilot skill be?

4) What would your special ability be?

5) *Optional, What would you Star Wars name be?

1) Rebels

2) B-wing

3) Operate starship and chew gum at the same time

4) Each turn: Copy the ability of any other pilot in the game (mostly because i'd be folowing what they were doing)

5) Pork Jenkins

What happens when you're side-by side with Biggs?

Anyway:

1) rebels

2) HWK

3) 7

4) When attacking or defending, you may change a blank result to a focus result

Tyor Gestoval

Fringe (no one engaged in extra legal business ventures thinks of themselves as either scum or villains)

VT-49 Decimator "White Raven"

PS 6

During the planning phase, you may use the maneuver templates to pre-measure possible moves. I'm known for being very cautious and deliberate.

It was my mates birthday and we had a day long x-wing session with BIG games. At the start of the day he handed us printed pilot cards with our names on, a skill, a ps ability and ship....with some flavour text!

It was great!

Jon "Hell Yeah" Fawcett (My name and the fact that I regularly shout "Hell yeah" and I am a noisy bugger)

Y-wing (My favourite ship)

PS 7

Skill: After you take a Target lock action: immediately make a primary weapon attack. You can not attack again this round.

The guy who made these tried to reflect our personalities too.#

A little back story first. In real life it was my copilot's leg to fly, but he had had a long week and was quite fatigued. He started to do something stupid on an instrument approach and I had to take the controls. He recognized his error, but as he is a good friend of mine,I gave him a bunch of trash talk over the incident. Afterwards he said "Sorry I forgot I was flying with the Hero Pilot"

I replied "No, I am an Aviation Legend, that is a step above Hero Pilot. Don't mess up my title". We laughed about it, and now when we are teamed together he jokingly calls me Aviation Legend.

So, not quite serious

S&V (because I'm a jerk, not Evil)

FireSpray (It has a crew slot, I need someone to abuse as we fly through space)

PS 9

Any enemy pilot that starts the turn at range 1 is unable to use any EPT for the duration of the turn.

Imperial

Tie fighter

PS1

Enemy Ships touching this one lower their agility by 1

I almost always have 3-5 ties in my squad, and I'm now known for blocking. Not many fancy combos work when you hit a wall of ties.

My quote would be "36 points for one ship!? I can have 3 TIEs for that!"

Never made a name for himself, but has been flying a T/F for longer than anyone can remember. Has seen about 725 squad mates die.

Faction: Imperial

Ship: T/F

Pilot Skill: 5

Ability: The first time you take damage that exceeds your current hull points, you end up with 1 hull point and gain an evade token. This pilot cannot use Focus tokens offensively during the remainder of this round.
