I know this has been answered before somewhere I just can't seem to find it.

Say I use Predator to reroll an attack die but no damage goes through. I then use gunner to immediately attack again. Am I allowed to use predator again with this second attack?

yes. It is a new attack, so it provides a new opportunity for all of those abilities.

Marksman works the same way.

The ship and its upgrades are considered a whole 'entity'.

When you equip a crew upgrade, or a Astromech unit, those cards add their abilities to the ship, and also 'share' any previous special ability the pilot or the ship may have.

For example, if you put Luke [crew] on Han's YT-1300, you get a ship that can reroll all its attacks, can attack again if it misses, and can convert one eyeball into a hit in that attack roll.
