1) Markus is the apprentice of a Darksider Force User, whilst neither are Sith they're just as much threatened by the Empire as any other Force wielder.
Markus's master has made use of a family shrine unfortunately a trio of Inquisitors have learned of a suspected shrine in the area but are currently busy inspecting an older shrine dating from the Old Republic and seem to be developing it as a potential ambush site for Jedi survivors.
Markus has been sent to intercept such a group who have hired him to lead them to this shrine and he has been asked to help them reach a meeting place with his Master.
However these survivors may have other ideas making Markus's life more difficult even as he honestly is trying to help these survivors but their actions may force his Master's hand and it would take only one of the Inquisitors surviving such a meeting to bring the Empire down on him and his Master.
Although they are both darksiders they're just as much enemies of the Emperor and his Apprentice and are willing to ally with these minor force wielders to defend their future... now if only they would listen....
2) Tika spent years developing his skills as a lowly artisan in the Jedi Temple, the Clone Wars left him bereft of his former friends and allies. When Order 66 happened he was in his quarters working on his latest innovation when he witnessed a group of Clone Troopers bursting into the hallway nearby slaughtering other workers most of whom wasn't even force sensitive but it was enough to send him into action managing to help overcome the first group of troopers but as more rushed to the scene the survivors fled to one of the hangars.
Many died but Tika managed to reach a ship as a small number burst clear of the Temple and fled only to be shot down by orbiting warships.
Barely surviving the resulting crash Tika and a couple of others reached safety and eventually managed to flee off world as the newly proclaimed Emperor announced the founding of the Empire.
With his skills Tika spent many years travelling every outwards eventually reaching the Outer Rim as word spread of the Jedi Corruption and the lies spread making it clear that any surviving Jedi even sympathisers had to hide their ties or face persecution or worse the rumours of the Empire glassing worlds seemed ridiculous but Tika feared otherwise.
Over a decade later Tika now known as Tik'a'moris a name he has never used since he was first found and brought to the Jedi Temple as a child he uses his skills as a wandering mechanic to survive on the very edges of society such as it is in the Outer Rim but he has never lost hope to discover he isn't the only survivor...
3) Kasuni spent her early years as a thief following the enslavement of her family by the Empire, she met Tika and with his help found a tutor developing her skills as a Pathfinder eventually bonding with the Bogwing she named Vaxim.
Although the much older Cerean has never shown anything but kindness towards the Togruta she has no interest in Tika's attempts to find his missing friends especially due to the indications that her friend has Jedi sympathies (and no she doesn't know he's actually a Jedi) and whilst she does consider him a friend she doesn't want him coming to the attention of the Empire.
But that doesn't mean she can't help research some of the sites dating from the Clone Wars or beyond as long as it keeps them far away from the Empire...
