A Scum List From What We Have So Far

By barabelsftw, in X-Wing

Here's a list I put together with everything released so far from scum. Really looking forward to trying it:

Boba Fett with VI, Recon Specialist and Seismic Charges (45)

Kavil with VI, Blaster Turret, R4 Agromech, Bomb Loadout, and Seismic Charges (33)

N'Dru with Lone Wolf and Hot Shot Blaster (Just noticed that his ability would work on HSB) (22)

Kavil can cover Boba's sides and they're pretty tough to arc dodge. N'Dru is born to be the flanker and can hit really hard with HSB the one time he needs to and is out of arc.

Probably has decent damage for three ships, and nice and tanky with the Firespray and Y-wing. If you can drop those mines at the right time, I feel like this list could do pretty well.

How about this one:

Boba Fett

++Recon Specialist

Kaato Leeachos

++Bodyguard

Ndru Suhlak

Syndicate Thug

++Blaster Turret

++R4 Agromech

Everyone but Ndru stays tight. Kaato spends a focus to Bodyguard Boba and give him an extra agility, then takes one of Boba's focus tokens for his own attack. Thug protects from flankers.

Interesting I like it. The downside for me is not being able to put lone wolf on N'Dru. That's probably gonna be my want for every squad I put him in. The offensive and defensive boost to me just seems too good to pass up and it makes him that much better of a flanker.

I was toying with this list. Needs tweaking as it gets played, but should be quite sound.

49 points
IG88-D
Veteran Instincts, Accuracy Corrector, Heavy Laser Cannon, Dead Man's Switch
25 points
Syndicate Thug #1
Ion Cannon Turret, R4 Agromech, BTL-A4 Y-Wing
25 points
Syndicate Thug #2
Ion Cannon Turret, R4 Agromech, BTL-A4 Y-Wing
One tweak would be to drop the HLC and add Seismic Charges to all 3 ships

I'm interested in a four y-wing build:

Syndicate Thug -blaster turret and R4 Agromech x2

Syndicate Thug -ion cannon turret, salvaged astromech, BTL-A4 x2

That leaves two points for initiative, seismic charges, or flechettes.

It might be better with the two ships at PS4 and unhinged Astros instead of salvaged.

I like a 4 ship Y as well. I also like a 2 ship IG-88 build with the 2000 card as using each others pilot ability is nuts...

I'm currently looking at something like:

Boba + EI + Marksmanship + Recon Spec

- This should become a pretty tough-arse ship at that point. Tons of rerolls, saving Focus for defense, etc.

3 x Binrayte Pirate + Hot Shot Blaster

This puts me at 93. I might upgrade to Black Sun Z95s, and add a seismic to get me to 98. Makes me feel really good about this squad. That Boba build just seems nasty.

Yeah, I would drop the HLC if you are going to run accuracy corrector. How often do you roll just one hit with the HLC, especially if you can modify dice? AC seems kind of a waste with 4 dice attacks. If you keep HLC (which I like on IG) than I would drop AC for something else.

He seems really nasty. Only downside is the stress... Might need to take along an elite Z with wingman. Maybe Leeachos. He could possibly grab a focus off Boba if he doesn't need it too.

I already love that list. I might try to skim to squeeze more ships, but that is really good. Scum Boba with RecSpec, love it.

Yeah I can get close to the 12 to add a z-95 (or a syck possibly) by taking out hsb, the seismic charges and the VI's (I like the vi to deal with phantoms though), but losing anything else is a tough decision to make up the last 3 points i'd need to get a fourth ship. Also for every ship you add you lose some of N'Dru's effectiveness. You could replace him for 2 z's and drop a seismic charge to make that work.

Also I like how you can swap those bombs and HSB for other ordanince depeding on meta and taste. at any time, because of the ships in this list, you can stock at least two bomb, two torps, or two missiles depending on what you like.

First thing I am running is

4 syndicate thug y wings with blaster and the R4 Agromech, then throwing on a couple of seismics to get to 100.

I think this will be a pretty solid list, 4 360 degree turrets with TL and 3 dice? that can cover a lot of board.

Love the combo of Bodyguard & Kaa'to. I will try that out for sure.

I was looking at running a sudo-swarm out of one Most Wanted box with IG-88 illicit. Provided you have some rebel Z's already.

2x Syndicate Pirates: deadman's switch

2x Black Sun Soldiers: feedback array

Kaa'to: hotshot blaster

N'Dru: lone wolf, cluster missiles, inertial dampener

This is 100pts. And tries out all the illicit cards revealed. Not a tournament list probably but it has lots of bodies and the arrays and switches can be quite lethal. Clusters work well with N'Dru for quite a powerful shot on a big target, especially with reroll. Dampeners are in there to try but also to allow him to keep out of the thick of the fight to avoid range for his abilities or keeping good arc.

Black Suns pilot skill boost will help get feedback array to work for getting toasted by base level pilots.

Probably better is to swap out Kaa'to for a Y-wing.

2x Syndicate Pirates: deadman's switch

2x Black Sun Soldiers: feedback array

N'Dru: lone wolf, cluster missiles

Syndicate Thug: autoblaster turret, title upgrade, bomb loadout, seismic charge, 'Genius'

99 pts.

Feedback Array is interesting, but the total cost is just too much. Any ship taking it is likely to do more damage at R1 then the array will do. The Ion then puts you mostly out of the fight for a turn, or two depending on your opponent. If it was R1-3, I might consider it.

It does bypass all defenses, which is nice, but I just don't think it's worth it.

But you can use it to attack a ship outside your arc

"His Highnessness" Prince Xizor w/ AdvS, virago title, PTL, Inertial Dampeners -39pts

"Xizor's Punching Bag" Syndicate Thug -18pts

"KillBot" IG88D w/ AdvS, Inertial dampeners, Stay on Target -42pts

-99pts

The idea is to draw fire onto the punching bag or IG88D, leaving Xizor relatively undamaged until the late-game, when he is an absolute menace. If IG88 also survives to the late game, the two of them should be able to overcome a weakened enemy squad with relative ease.

That is why I want to try the feedback array since it doesn't require an arc.

A list I want to try is Fett with outmaneuver, Greedo, and inertia dampeners and 4 X Binayre Pirates with feedback array.
