I don't understand the system and my players are too settled into WEG d6 to learn it with me. I was thinking that joining a PbP might help me understand it better. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Pete

Welcome to FFG's SWRPG! Here's one PbP game I saw mentioned: http://www.reddit.com/r/swrpg/comments/2jc0m6/star_wars_quentin_tarantino_play_by_post/
There's also another, but I don't recall enough particulars for my google-fu to work.
Edited by verdantsfrpol.net is a great site for find PBP games. use the search at the bottom of the main page to find EotE or AoR games.
What does PbP mean?
Edited by TirisilexPlay by post, as in games played via forum posts.
Edited by verdantsfI would head to rpol. Just make sure you let your GM know you may need a little help with learning the system. PbP is a rather slow process, so hang in there and only expect maybe 1 post/day in a fast paced game. But on the upside, it gives you more time to really think about what you want to do and be a bit more creative. It should help you understand the rules better and you can always take a couple minutes to look things up and figure it out before you post ![]()
Another advantage to PbP is, if you're into creative writing, you can really go full-bore with descriptions of what your character is doing/thinking/feeling in a way you might not even be able to do around a table! ![]()
Though if none of the other players are, it can be a miserable experience... ![]()
Hello! I set up a game called Star Wars Galaxy on RPol.net. Here's the link:
