So I've been going over the FAQ's for Vassal over the past couple days, familiarizing myself with the layout and such, and I think plenty of it makes sense.

Is there a way to replace the mod's images with actual card images?

I understand why Vassal doesn't have full card art so as to not step on FFG's toes of copyright, etc, but I kind of assume it's like OCTGN for the card games, if you know how there is a way so long as you own everything (which I do).

Second question:

Who wants to help a noob through a few games or two? I'd like to start playing online a little bit more often to get some games in.

Art is tricky and could cause FFGs lawyers to issue a cease and desist notice like they did with that squad builder not long back, they have to protect their stuff or lose it.

Right, hence why I mentioned I understood why they do it, but if you've ever used the program OCTGN for card games, then you know you can import images and add them to your personal database...was just wondering if there was a similar feature for Vassal.

I'm going to guess there isn't otherwise someone would've mentioned it by now.
