Will the rulling on how evade tokens can't cancel hit results from the autoblaster be the same with the Autoblaster Turret?
Will Autoblaster Turret Adhere To Autoblaster's FAQ Ruling?
Yes.
I don't see why not. It is not like the changes in the FAQ were specific to one card.
They weren't even really about Autoblaster. They were a change in the core mechanic for how results are treated.

Ok cool. I wasn't sure if the ruling was for just the card or the mechanic. Thanks

No problem
I could see why someone would look at autoblaster and think that.
Why wouldn't it?
The real change was in the rule that evade tokens (and similar abilities) are now treated as dice results, and there is no difference between "defense dice" and "other stuff". The autoblaster FAQ is just a clarification that says "look at this previous change in case you missed it", it doesn't actually change any rules for the autoblaster. So the turret will work the same way even if FFG doesn't explicitly say so.
Think this shows the FAQ getting ahead of releases. Otherwise the turret would have no way of hurting a fat falcon.

I don't think so at all. FFG has no problem with the idea of a single academy pilot or turretless HWK being able to hurt a fat Falcon, so why would it be a problem if a single autoblaster turret can't do it? The real issue was that the rules describe using evade tokens (and similar abilities) like dice results, but they weren't technically defense dice. The ruling just makes it more consistent and treats all dice results the same way, regardless of their origin.
We are talking about the blaster turret, are we saying that the rule that applies to the autoblaster applies to to it also even though it is a different weapon. Is the blaster turret a autoblaster. It has different ranges also.

nope, new Autoblaster turret revealed in Most Wanted:

Thanks for the clarification, had not seen it.
When they FAQ the autoblaster they didn't change the autoblaster as much as they changed the entire ruling on dice results. Because they changed the rules instead of the card since the text on the new card is the same with the exception of "even if it is outside your arc" so it will have the same ability as autoblaster cannon.
