Recon Package
Replace all (Torpedo), (Missile) or (Bombs) with Recon Package; ship gains the (System) trait
? Points
I'd say Automatic lock on all ships and the ability to transfer lock to other friendly ships. Maybe give ships without a focus on there action bar focus.
Say 5 Pts
4-5 ( not sure about pricing ) Points, Buzz droids bomb token as big as the minefield
Action: u May Throw Buzz droids with a 1 forward template infront or behind ure ship that stands there for 3 turns ( so dont forget ure turn markers). if an enemy or friendly ship overlaps the token roll 3 attack dices on a hit and crit suffer the ships suffer the dmg.
Shield Supercharger
Requires shields
3 points
When you lose your last shield point, discard this card and roll an attack die. On a hit result, refresh your shields to full. On a crit result, gain one shield point and deal yourself a single face-up damage card.
Is this once per game, I would make this once per game and instead of fully recharging shields, how about adding a max of +2 shields. This IMO is less game destroying.
The "discard this card" bit was supposed to make it only trigger once per game, yes.

Got it! Sorry I posted it while at work.

I was thinking the same sort of thing, but with a different effect.
Buzz Droid Cluster - 3 or 4 points.
Action: Discard this card to drop 1 buzz droid token (same as proximity mine).
When a ship executes a maneuver, if its base or maneuver template overlaps this token, this token detonates.
Detonation: Deal one face-up damage card and apply one stress token to the ship that detonates this token.

Discard this card to cancel any attacks (even after dice results) Your opponent gains +5 VP. If this ship is destroyed with the upgrade still on then opponent gains +10 VP.
Buzz droids
7 points
place buzz droid token as if you would place a bomb token. Any ship that initiates a maneuver that cause the maneuver template or base to overlap with the token gets dealt a face up damage card and resolve it as well as the buzz droid token. At the end of each turn all ships with buzz droid tokens flip one random face down damage card face up and resolve it. If no face down damage card is in play then deal one face down damage card unless ship discards an upgrade instead.
Action roll an attack die if critical hit then remove buzz droid, if equipped with an astromech or salvaged astromech upgrade then discard buzz droid on a roll of a hit.

Small based ship only
Once Per Game: Action: Your ship may use the Cloak action, but must De-cloak the following turn. Roll 1 attack die, on a hit (Not Critical) suffer 1 damage.
Makes it cost less, but more of a risk too
Enhanced Lasers - 4 points
During your attack gain 1attack die
After the attack roll 1 attack die, on a hit or critical hit result suffer 1 damage
Risk/reward, not bad, but I'd change the name to make it sound more reckless than "Enhanced Lasers"...maybe "hot-rigged lasers" or something.

I think the risk here needs to be higher. People with lots of shields will easily take this upgrade and not worry about it.
Perhaps you should add suffers a face up damage card. Ignoring shields and change it to be a hit only.
I could see Firesprays and Y's having a blast with the extra firepower and not worrying about the damage with the way it currently is written. Plus In this game +1 attack should be more than +1 shield.
Was considering this. But if the proposed crits ignore shields, isn't then the risk outweighing the benefit?
Every time you fire there is a chance you get damaged too. For four points, maybe five, that is acceptable.
However if, for the same 4 points, there's a chance I blow up my Z-95 in turn one, why would I take it?
What's too cheap for a firespray is, in this case, way to expensive for a Z-95.
Thankfully Y's can't take illicits, but with the Firespray you have a valid point.

Maybe like a dead mans switch. Or if you want to go more crazy when ever ship receives a face up ship direct hit damage card deal 1 face up damage card to every ship at range 1 then remove ship.

Nah. I like to think of it as the pilot ejecting a droid full of thermal detonators behind it into a group of ships. squeak-shrieking as it goes kaboom.

Because I want it to be a major risk to use, and Ion token doesn't do much, but 1 damage card facedown does. Especially with all the abilities to turn facedown cards face up now days. Although I do under stand it cause all the electronics to stop working, So maybe just an Ion token is better or perhaps 2 ion tokens, I need to do some research on how cloaking devices work in the SW Universe to figure that out better.

I would just make the salvaged Astromech a Proton Bomb:
R2-P99 (Or Some other name)
Salvaged Astromech

The Astromech counts as a Proton Bomb and follows the rules from Bombs.
this is simple an allows non bombers to have a bomb. Without totally changing the rules.

I like it, but think about it this way. You take the drugs to remove the stress and it makes you see double and not focus well. Like real drugs.
Deathsticks - 1 point(s) - Limited
Action: Discard this card to remove all stress, focus, and Blue target Lock tokens, from your ship immediately. You are cannot have any tokens added to your ship by friendly actions or abilities for the rest of the turn.
You can remove a stress token for free, but you also suffer penalties for it.
If we are making astromechs also...

Roll 1 attack die any time an enemy ship ends it's movement within range 1 of your ship. On a hit symbol, that ship takes 1 damage.
Would be an interesting way to discourage close combat against your ship. Would be interesting if ships got on your tail also. Move slow and hope they end up at range 1 for a shot at some free damage.
4 seems cheap for something that has the ability to do auto-damage, but it's range 1 only, and only hits on a hit symbol (not crit, blank, or focus).

Did some research on this It does appear that when they malfunction a Ion Token is a better representation then 1 damage card.
