Green K-Turn?

As far as i know... currently ONLY the Tie Defender has a WHITE K-TURN....

If we include S&V upgrade cards...

No. E-wings can't take Salvaged Astromechs.

As we know of now there is only 1 ship (coming eventually) that can take Unhinged Astromech. And those are the S&V Y-wings aka the Scum-wings. As far as we know their movement dial would be the same as Y-wings.

FFG made an entirely different upgrade slot that works the same way Astromech slots work for Rebels. Only they made the 2 different slots much the same as they did for torpedoes and missile slots. Only thing is that the upgrade slots are more faction specific, astromech for rebels and salvaged astromech for S&V.

Now if the maneuver dial is the same as a Y-wing yes it does turn a red maneuver into a green one as the 3 turns on Y-wings are red. So you would treat those maneuvers as green until something like a critical damage turns all turns into red.

Hahaha nice try mate, but no, that's wishful thinking.

Nope they are right you can't use that mech on anything but the scum y-wing, and we have no idea if they'll get another fighter with an astromech socket, unless they do end up doing uglies.

If you like stress free k turns buy a defender, heck buy one even if you don't play empire.

Yep, the Defender is pretty cool with its white K-turn. It's so cool to be able to tell an opponent "I'm doing a K-turn here, and I've still got an action as well."

Still, for 1 point, the Unhinged Astromech does at least add some greenery to an otherwise lacklustre dial on a Y-wing. And, there's still some more Salvaged Astros yet to be revealed.

How many times has this sort of thing come up now? The excitement factor seems to nullify the ability to read at times apparently.

Yeah, it looks to be essentially the Scum version of the R2 Astromech, only the greens are three manuevers instead of ones and twos. Which will allow the Scum Y-wings to function and move at least slightly different to the Rebel Y-Wings.

Bounty Hunter Dengar's ship had an Astro slot apparently.

So there may yet be room for more scum ships with mech slots - and more mechs

Hound's Tooth also had a droid brain controlling its systems, not necessarily the same thing, but I could see the unique title letting it swap a crew for a Salvaged Astromech (assuming it's not an Epic scale ship if/when it gets made).

S&V getting Slavaged Astromechs on big ships would be a very cool, unique thing IMO. Probably better for game balance than a large ship with System slot and expanded firing arcs... that might be a little too good :D

Unhinged aggro mech + security droid = robot synergy!

I for one am hoping for the Punishing One eventually, aka the Jumpmaster 5000, the ship of Dengar and his wife. It would likely have a crew slot and the Punishing One title would add a Salvaged Astromech.

But in all actuality, Unhinged Astromech is likely the reason we won't get the JM5K, or if we did, it probably wouldn't have a 3-turn. But a guy can hope, right?

I agree, I just think that making it really maneuverable might fill the same design space as the Outrider, so FFG might shy away from it. It would be in a different faction, obviously, but three other ships overlap with Scum.

Idk, I'd just like to see The JM5K. I like Dengar and I think it would make a really cool model.
