Whisper will need to perform a red move to make use of SoT, which makes her VERY predicatable and possibly DEAD the following turn.

Her greens aren't that bad, but that does utterly bugger up ACD. Hmm...

Mind you, A Wingman fixes both those issues. Stick it on Boba Fett maybe, as he can stay close enoigh to use it and won't die quickly. Alternatively, multiple Wingmen, Black Squadron Pilots or Royal Guards?

True, but then you are relying on Whisper being in Range 1 of a ship with Wingman at the start of the combat phase, which again, limits her possible positioning and makes her easier to pick out.

I think it would be fun to try out the most maneuverable build for a game but the straight up ACD VI Whisper is probably still stronger overall.

There is also yorr for stress mitigation and that's range 1-2, relatively cheep and durable with decent damage output. And engine upgrade and you should be able to keep up with the phantom.

Not if you're out of arc. If I were Whisper in this scenario what I'd be really scared of would be a high pilot skill with their own Stay On Target Navigator. Keyan would be perfect.

Corran Horn agrees more people should run this Whisper for sure.

You could only do it with Yorr and Swarm Tactics Vader. And it still wouldn't be great.
