Rescue at Glare Peak... will it be made available?

By dojimaster, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

Nothing says 'Happy Martin Luther King Day' like it...

Or holy three kings holiday (at least for us in germany, don“t know, where elsewhere it is celebrated) ;-)

Are there any romance threads in the story? Because Valentine's is coming...

Well, it looks like somebody keeps selling copies on eBay if you've got the cash to spend. Though it looks like they keep selling for $100+, so you might be better off just waiting until FFG throws it up...

They eventually released Under a Black Sun as a free PDF, so I assumed they'd do the same here.

FFG are usually pretty good. I'm never quite sure what the motivation for not releasing it would be. Not like it was promised as an exclusive or something, and that Gaming Day is long ended. You'd have thought it would benefit them to have people playing their games, especially as there are few official AOR adventures, and people on the threads are asking for ideas.

There's a similar issue going on about the 5th edition D&D 'organised play' modules. It feels a bit short-sighted to not provide people with the means to play your games, especially if they're willing to pay for it.

I guess it's a legal thing; maybe someone who has some insider insight can help?

I hope they release it. It was well done and I think a lot of people would appreciate it.

@Maelora as far as the legality is concerned, I only know they can't sell it, for the same reason they can't sell pdf's of the other books.

I don't think there' s any legal reason they can't provide it for free.

It'll soon be Kansas Day...

If the Groundhog sees his shadow, that'll mean 6 more weeks of waiting.

Anytime now.

Anytime now.

Gahhhh! Saw the thread bump, thought we had some good news. Blast your eyes sir! ;)

Valentine's Day.

When you give people you love something to show you love them...

No hope for Lincoln's Birthday?

If (gods forbid!!!) I ever wanted to stick to canon, I'd do what KotOR did in reverse: I'd set it in the future.

So all these events (Luke, Vader, etc) all happened, a hundred years ago, it's history now so it can't be changed, everyone involved is long dead, this is a completely new era in which the PCs are the heroes.

I did think long and hard about that setting. As it was, I wanted to make some fundamental changes so just reworked the canon.

so Legacy comics.

Too bad there aren't any copies on eBay, because I would buy it for an outrageous amount only to have it released a month later on the site...just like what happened to me with Shadow of a Black Sun.

Sigh - want so much.

Actually I'd like a print copy of the whole Rebellion Day pack.

I've bought all FFG's Star Wars RPG products so the fact that there's one product out there that I don't have is annoying.

I don't know if the Devs ever read these posts, but selling me a print copy of this product would be welcome.

I'm sure they are too busy making more great books :P

I actually contacted them a month or so after it came out to see if they had any spares I could order, and they were out.

You'll just have to keep an eye on eBay if you want an official printed copy.

Me too...

I watch this thread like a kid watching their chimney on Christmas Eve.

"...Any minute now... What was that?! Is it here?... Nope. Back to watching and waiting."

With lit match in hand ready to throw on a small kerosene-soaked kindling pile?

There are two for sale at Ebay now. Starting price 79 $........To high price. I Think I will wait and hope FFG will release it later on.

Add my name to the list of folks who'd love to have access to this adventure.

A scan is online I was told (a friend of mine had it on his tablet and said he'd gotten it off the web as a pdf)
