Looking to get some for my ships. Any suggestions as to where/what to get?

While I'm all for magnetising stuff, I haven't done it on X-wing models. Icareane do come to mind as someone to ask about this subject.

I use 1/8 by 1/16 inch Rare Earth disc magnents. Works well for the z95, X-wing, and Y-wing I've done so far. I think tonight I will do my TIEs and update. Don't know if they will work with bigger models like the HWK...

With magnets you can truly feel The Force.

Magnets are a great way to add some needed flare to your flying.

I'll second the vote for K&J Magnetics

I got some metal balls to glue to the top of the flight stands and some ring magnets that I glued in place of the pegs that I pulled of the ships.

It might help to prevent all the bumping on the table. Got a star mat but the texture is so smooth it is almost worse than a hardwood table.

I think I'm gonna put magnets on the turrets of my Decimator, and a HWK.. just for grins.. I have some 1/16th by 1/16th.. should be fine fire those turrets..

I edited it to make it centered, just for you. Creates background weirdness, though.

I hadn't even thought of B-wing cockpits. Totally gonna do that.
Ended up getting a 100-pack off of amazon for under $10, which will hopefully get here by Tuesday.
